In addition to metal, we also machine plastics such as polycarbonate and perspex. Other services include CNC machining, turning and tube bending and product design. Incorporated under the R & G umbrella is a semi-automated powder coating plant for in-house powder coating, a CNC machining shop, a tool room for maintenance and upkeep of our machines and tooling and Unirack, suppliers of 19″ server cabinets, wall boxes and accessories.
We are committed to the development and sustainability of our environment through the use of solar panels and our recycling efforts.
Some of our largest projects to date include the providing of all the ducting at the Medupi and Kusile power stations, steelwork for the electrical boards at the Medupi Power Station in Elasrus as well as the baggage handling conveyors at OR Tambo International Airport.

Design office
R & G Sheet Metal have a fully functional design office with qualified CAD operators utilising ALP 100 Alpha CAM and Auto CAD Inventor 3D unfold software. We are able to offer product design and development in consultation with client brief/specifications. Our state-of-the-art quality management system makes use of bar-coding and tracking on all of our technical drawings.

R & G Sheet Metal uses a large range of Amada machinery including two CNC Lasers, four CNC Punches, Programmable shear, eight CNC Bending Machines and various welding and Spot Welding Bays, Grinding Bays, Eccentric Presses, Corner Notches, Programmable Band Saws, Lathes and Surface Grinders etc.
